One of the original heavy metal bands is going to be embarking on one final series of concerts. The Black Sabbath tour 2016 will feature some of the worlds most prominent rock artists of our generation. They just announced their intention to play live shows in the tickets just went on sale. Now is an excellent time to pick up some seats before the other fans find out about their farewell tour.

It was just recently confirmed by the band’s lead singer Ozzy Osbourne that metal legends Black Sabbath are going to go on a final string of concerts in 2016. This is without a doubt going to be their final live performances. It was tough getting all the members of the band back together for one last final hurrah, because they all live in different countries. After a lot of talking between the members, they finally decided to do it for the fans.

For all those Ozzy Osbourne fans out there, you’ll be pleased to know that he is going to continue going on the road and making new albums as a solo artist after black Sabbath splits up for good. After his band gets done with these farewell shows, you can expect to see Ozzy on the road by himself not too long after that. In fact he was playing solo shows when he made the announcement that they may get back together.

When you see the Black Sabbath tour 2016 you are going to get to hear all of your favorite heavy metal tracks. When it comes to metal riffs there is no better guitarist then the lead guitar player of Sabbath Tony Iommi. He is in a league of his own when it comes to crafting catchy metal riffs. The band only recently achieved a number one album. This was thanks to their 2013 album called the 13. And Tony came up with all these amazing riffs for this chart topping album while he was fighting cancer! It’s truly amazing to think that their biggest success came when some of the members were having the toughest battles in their lives to date.

If you’re lucky, we may even get a final black Sabbath album in 2015 or 2016. With Tony’s health up in the air due to his lymphoma, there are no guarantees. Ozzy will be performing his solo material during a residency stint in Las Vegas in this coming October. The first shows of the upcoming Black Sabbath concerts will take place in January. They have dates several months after that as well, and there’s no telling how long they intend to perform. If we are lucky we will see them put in a long stint that lasts well into 2016.

One thing is for sure though, the popularity of this classic metal band has not waned in the slightest. In fact there album sales are doing better than ever, in the interest from the fans is at an all-time high. If you want to see one of their shows on this farewell tour, you’d be well advised to be sure and purchase your tickets before it’s too late!
